Agreement to these terms

By using porthouseassociates.com or purchasing a product from Porthouse & Associates, LLC (“Porthouse & Associates,” “we,” or “us”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms work together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to purchase products from this site.

Educational content only

All content on this site and in our publications and products, including The Owner's Numbers Review, is provided for general educational purposes. Services under separate agreement

These terms do not apply to services provided under a separate written agreement, including CFO, tax, bookkeeping, and coaching services. Those services are governed by the terms of that agreement.

Purchases and payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe. Digital products are delivered electronically after purchase. You agree to provide accurate purchase and contact information. We may change prices at any time; changes do not affect completed purchases.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

License for digital products

When you purchase a digital product, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own business. You may print copies for your own use. You may not share, resell, redistribute, or publicly post the product or any part of it.

Intellectual property

The content of this site and of our publications and products, including text, materials, and the Porthouse & Associates name and logo, is owned by Porthouse & Associates, LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. Except as allowed by the license above, you may not copy, modify, or distribute it without written permission. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link to the source.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its systems, interfere with its operation, or copy its content by automated means.

Third-party links and services

The site links to services operated by others, including Substack, the Deliberate Drift podcast site, and the client portal for existing CFO, tax, and bookkeeping clients. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those services, which are governed by their own terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms, the site, or a purchase will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, except that either party may bring an eligible claim in small-claims court.
